Stitching Instructions

This piece is worked in the random long stitch. This is a painterly technique, which I developed using this stitch. This technique allows the fibers to come to life. You stitch over 1 to 5 painted canvas threads vertically. On occasion, you may go over 6 canvas threads, but never more than that. Separate the ply of the threads. The fiber will cover the vertical stitch better. Just lay the stitch over the painted canvas with the fiber, which matches the color just like a coloring book. Enjoy!
